With a deep commitment to a holistic treatment approach, I provide a supportive and validating environment for my clients by incorporating the individual’s broad diverse facets—their background, life, relationships, work, identity—into my clinical approach.

Natalie Berry, Psy.D., HSP is a clinical psychologist and the founder of Berry Wellness & Psychology, PLLC. She is a graduate of Midwestern University’s Clinical Psychology program. She earned her Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology from Loyola University Maryland and her Bachelor of Science degree from Loyola University Chicago. Dr. Berry completed her Doctoral Internship at the University of Kentucky. She enjoys working with adults with a wide range of mental health issues and life concerns, including, stress management, interpersonal relationship challenges, anxiety, mood disorders, identity development, trauma, self-esteem, and other life experiences. She also enjoys working with couples and families.

In addition to providing psychotherapy services to individuals and couples, Dr. Berry has worked as a Supervision and Training Coordinator, supervising doctoral and post-doctoral students in their clinical work. During her doctoral program, Dr. Berry served as a member of Midwestern University’s Diversity Task Force to promote inclusivity, awareness and build cultural humility among clinical psychology students and faculty. Her doctoral research explored mental health stigma among racial and ethnic minority college students. Dr. Berry also has experience working as a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion coordinator. She is passionate about bringing awareness to mental health professionals regarding how race, ethnicity, and culture impact mental health.

She provides an open, safe, and collaborative space for her clients to reflect on their life and improve their wellbeing. Respect for and understanding of the diversity of individual differences and experiences is foundational to her clinical approach. She believes that it is the duty of mental health professionals to unpack their privilege, understand their salient identities in the context of systemic power disparities and engage in intentional self-reflection.
